Many indigenous people are displaced from their ancestral home in the Amazon rain forest due to oil barons moving in to drill for the oil or for minerals underneath the rain forest. This is a common problem in Ecuador, Peru, Brazil and Colombia. With every indigenous group that goes extinct, their language and a library of knowledge on medicinal plants and more disappears with them.
