Goddess of the Red Sea from series Women of the World

My new work is dedicated with my new friend Samar, a girl whom I met in Egypt. This amazing meeting happened when my husband and I watched the sunrise. We were not alone on the beach, another family walked: Samar, her brother and mother. Together we went to the pier and what a childish delight we had when we saw the most beautiful fantastic fishes. Samar family came to celebrate their mother’s birthday. It's so cool! Next was an amazing underwater world. When were the first submersion. When I first swam under water, I had the idea that we all are somehow connected, we look at the fish, they are at us, but we are connected by something deep, sea, space. Therefore, my impressions of the sea intertwined in my work, my meeting with this wonderful, romantic girl. I drew it the way I saw it! And yet, when I was planning the series Women of the World, I had these abstract women from the Internet, models, film actresses. Now I am happy when my series is replenished with live people with whom I intersect, with their dreams, desires, with their outlook on the world and it is so cool!
