Gypsy

I was travelling in Tamil Nadu, India, when i sat for few days in this pleasant city called Mahabalipuram. I can still remember that stamps seller tanned by the sun, tired of walking on the sand for hours. It was a delight for the senses to see this pirate looking man with his plastic colorful necklaces, gumshoe stamps, jeans and dark skin covered by a mixture of hennah forming traditionnal disigns of his creation. A heat which made him sweat while he was holding all his treasure and showing it with his laborer hands. Within all those strong features i could see tenderness, delicassy in his gaze and in all the stamps he placed on the sand all around me, while his wife and his kid came to join.
