The spheres in light blue over the red and yellow banner represent Constantine's army led and blessed by the Holy Mary as it advances, crossing the Tiber, over Maxentius' army, doing God's will to spread the newly official faith over the whole empire and the known world. With the banners each army carries, both using yellow and red. I switched the order of colors from the original painting to give it a better color balance on this piece. Here the army of Constantine is marching on, as Maxentius' army has already crossed the Tiber.
