I am Polish born and Plymouth based artist.My artist name is AGAZART.I have been living in England since 2005. Back in Poland I studied Visual Art and Interior Design.I also hold Master Degree in Human Studies. As an artist,I specialise in analogue collage -my media is paper, glue,cardboard, wood,thread,magazines, vintage and contemporary photography, sometimes I make small assemblage too,I especially like working within surreal and abstract spectrum in art. My collages are inspired by particular subject-like paying a tribute to my music,art or poetry icon-for example-Patti Smith(poetry),Barbara Kruger(collage art)or David Bovie(music). Sometimes I get inspired by social or political movements and affairs or music subculture -especially punk and new wave. Sometimes my art is predicted by subject enforced by collage competitions and open call for artists,that I find very inspiring and challenging. It boosts my creativity. Sometimes I just wake up,drink my coffee,I look at my "wall of onspiration" and then collage simply just "happens itself"-spontaniously. That is why I love this medium of art expression-its never boring and you can use anything to make it -from kitchen foil to cardboard scrap. Three of my collages just got displayed in online Surface Gallery (Notthingham)through the Dot Dash Dot project about Mark Making in Contemporary Art. I also exhibited my art projects on Royal William Yard in Ocean Studios last year. One of my assemblage was recently submited on Edinburgh Collage Collective collage platform page in their Match Box project "Strike a Light" and one of my collage was displayed on Paris Collage Collective collage group website too.
