Helena Barbagelata (1991). Fashion model, multidisciplinary artist, researcher and activist. She holds a PhD in Philosophy, Cognitive Sciences and Mathematics from the University of Salamanca. Throughout her career, she has received several artistic awards from the Onassis Foundation, Ministry of Culture and Sports of the Greek Government, Saint Petersburg Repin Academy of Fine Arts, Universitat de València, Universitat de Barcelona, among others.

Member of the Society of Jewish Artists (SoJa) and the Organization for the Democratization of the Visual Arts (OBDK). Her works combine painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, video, sound art and printmaking. She held numerous solo and group exhibitions in Europe, South America, Australia and the United States. Her most recent projects include: "Arts & Human Rights: Conversing Multiplicities" organized and developed by the Human Rights Research and Education Centre (HRREC) from the University of Ottawa, Canada, “POLITICAL STATEMENT”, Group show, Loosen Art, Spazio Millepiani, Rome, Italy, January-February, 2022.
