Ian Spahr

Ian Spahr is a Swiss versatile artist. Born in 1992 in a city called St. Gallen. Starting his artistic career as a graphic designer, today he performs his art on the inspiring island of Bali. Through his art, he expresses the pressures of the society which is split into divisions - into good and bad, into saint and sinner. His artwork doesn’t follow any rules or adapts to anything, which gives Ian the freedom to declare his reality through his creations, whatever it is. Wonderful things can emerge from a bare surface. Magic can be created with the simplest things and for Ian, those magical moments are the essence of his reality. His creativity is a byproduct of his continuous philosophical and spiritual exploration. It represents his memories, thoughts, dreams, and prayers which he compiled through his journeys, travels, and people he met along.
