Being an Indian boy who grew up in Bangalore, I had immense interest in paintings as a child but didn’t take it seriously until I was in my early 20’s. I wanted every beautiful piece of art to be mounted on paper with lots of colours into it. It used to take lots of efforts in collecting the various kinds of vibrant colours at that young age to make my piece of art the one which won’t be ignored”. Re- calling past, 1999 paved a new path, artistically for me; there was nothing interesting for me apart from paintings”. My passion towards art made me choose this field as my carrier path and in 2006 I completed my Bachelors of Fine arts (specialized in paintings and sculptures) at Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath. During my graduation days I parallely conducted Art classes at my own educational Institution, I also worked at EB BASS car modifications and auto graphic (Spray Painting) for an year. My first independent project was for NDTV .The anxieties and the insecurities that were present previously had died down and simultaneously my art had improved and centred on exploring the dramatic dream space imaginary for which today I’m known. Working under guidance of my uncle Sai Babu , was an excellent opportunity that helped me to showcase my strength and brilliant pieces of art which in turn helped be boost my career. The Freedom of creativity allowed me to achieve heights, as well as space to experiment. Working as a freelancer for the giant companies like Prestige group builders, Ferns Residency, Kingfisher Towers, was the one of the most memorable experiences, my other projects also nevertheless showcased my creative skills in aesthetic of paintings, interior and exterior designs, installation art photography etc. The quality of work I have delivered opened up lots of opportunities. Today I’m spending a great deal of time experimenting paintings with charcoal , water colours , oil pastels, acrylic, oil colours , dry pastels, egg tempera , glass paintings , stumping powder effects , canvas paintings and fresco art . My expertise is not only paintings but it’s also spread towards Sculpture’s out of metals sheets , fibre castings , stone carvings , 2D murals and string art .Art shows at Chitrakala parishath , Alliance Francaise, Gallery G, Renaissance Gallery , Goa Film festival are never the ones to be missed . I would take this opportunity to introduce ZORBA ART STUDIO. Zorba Art Studio is established in Bangalore since 2006, it’s a tattoo and creative Art based studio possessing international standards of Art. ZORBA is another name of Buddha which relates to “Enlightenment”. The term Zorba is Greek word meaning “Live each day”.
